Sofia is the Co-FoundeR Of Tiny Organics, an early childhood nutrition company on a mission to shape the palates of a generation to prefer and love vegetables from the earliest days, ensuring children grow up to live their healthiest, happiest lives and prevent chronic diseases later in life. Prepared fresh and carefully crafted by a team of neonatal nutritionists, Tiny meals are created to suit baby and toddler developmental milestones, with no added sugar or salt, and never more than 5 grams of natural sugars per serving.
Since launching in January 2020, Tiny has been featured in national publications like TechCrunch, The New Yorker, Inc, Forbes, ROMPER and garnered investments from thought leaders like Gary Vaynerchuk, Howard Morgan (Co-Founder of First Round Capital) and Liz Lange, as well as top tier VCs. Tiny is omnichannel (DTC + retail) and serves customers nationwide.
EXPERIENCE
Born and raised in Finland, Sofia has always been passionate about advocating for women and children. Prior to Tiny, Sofia spent her career launching and building brands. She is an integrated marketing veteran with over a decade of experience, including at Ascend Foundation, where she helped elevate women and minorities onto U.S. corporate boards and created a pipeline of women and minorities to achieve the highest levels of leadership at Fortune 500 corporations. Prior to that, Sofia worked at Deutsche Bank in New York and at Aristarc Capital, a hedge fund. She is a frequent speaker and regular contributor to Entrepreneur. She has been featured in Forbes, Crunchbase, TechCrunch, and more on topics of loyalty and non-traditional paths to building companies. Sofia relocated to New York from london in 2010.
